Genuinely difficult to watch at times — in a good way
The Crown doesn't let you off the hook. the historical drama quality is genuinely uncomfortable in ways few shows dare to be. It respects the audience's intelligence. Tywysog Cymru is just astonishing television.

A bit overhyped but still very good
The Crown lives up to maybe 80% of the hype. Claire Foy and Olivia Colman's respective portrayals is genuinely excellent. The Britain's post-war decline element is well done. My only complaint is that things drag slightly in the middle. Still four stars.
