The score elevates every scene

The music in Justice League is so deeply married to the images that you almost can't separate them. It stays in your head days later and when you hear it again the emotions return immediately.

Stayed with me for weeks

Justice League ended and I sat with it for weeks. The hope restored theme kept circling back. I'd be doing something mundane and the Amazons vs Steppenwolf would pop into my head. That kind of resonance is rare.

The ending absolutely floored me

Justice League builds so carefully to its conclusion that when it arrives you feel genuinely moved. The assembling against an existential threat thread pays off in a way that's earned rather than manipulative. Couldn't sleep afterward.

Hard to watch but impossible to look away

Justice League deals with hope restored in a way that's genuinely uncomfortable at times. But that discomfort is the point. Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon never lets you look away, and the film is better for it.

Better on second watch

I liked Justice League when I first saw it, but the second viewing is where it clicked. Once you notice how Zack Snyder and Joss Whedon plants every detail early on, the whole film transforms. Layers everywhere.
