I first watched Catch Me If You Can as a teenager and thought it was fine. Rewatched at 30 and it hit completely differently. The the chase as a dance undercurrent makes total sense now in a way it didn't before.

Everyone told me to watch Catch Me If You Can for years. Finally did and instantly understood why. Tom Hanks's dogged determination is immediately apparent. Now I'm recommending it just as loudly to everyone else.

Everyone focuses on the lead in Catch Me If You Can but the supporting cast is extraordinary. Every scene partner brings something real. It makes the world feel fully inhabited rather than staged.
