What sets Anticuchos apart is the handling of purple corn. In lesser versions this is treated as a background note. Here it's central and the fresh and marine result shows it. I've started buying it to cook with at home after this experience.

Decent Anticuchos — nothing more, nothing less
Anticuchos at this place was fine. The bright and citrusy flavour was there but not distinguished. huacatay black mint was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Restaurant review — Anticuchos that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Anticuchos well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The spicy and aromatic base was authentic and the use of leche de tigre lime marinade showed real knowledge.
