Decent Lutefisk — nothing more, nothing less
Lutefisk at this place was fine. The subtly smoky flavour was there but not distinguished. fresh salmon was present in the right quantities but without the care that makes the difference. You can taste when something is being made to a formula.

Lutefisk exceeded every expectation
I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Lutefisk made with real commitment to cloudberry and technique. The rich and slightly sweet result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

Spice level warning — Lutefisk is not what I expected
I underestimated Lutefisk. The clean and oceanic description didn't prepare me for the reality. fresh salmon brings a heat or pungency that builds steadily rather than hitting upfront. By halfway through I was sweating but couldn't stop eating.
