Chiles Rellenos as comfort food — exactly what I needed
Some dishes exist to comfort and Chiles Rellenos is absolutely in that category. The bright and citrusy quality works on something almost primal — you feel the warmth of it immediately. Mexican chocolate does work that no substitute can replicate.

I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Chiles Rellenos well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The deeply aromatic base was authentic and the use of tomatillo showed real knowledge.
