Restaurant review — Lok Lak that actually delivered
I'm sceptical of any restaurant claiming to do Lok Lak well, having been disappointed often enough. This one delivered. The fresh with lemongrass base was authentic and the use of kaffir lime showed real knowledge.

Lok Lak exceeded every expectation
I went in with low expectations — I'd had mediocre versions before. What I found was Lok Lak made with real commitment to kroeung lemongrass paste and technique. The delicate and herbal result was more complex and satisfying than anything I'd had before.

Street food Lok Lak — the authentic version
The best Lok Lak I've ever had came from a street stall, not a restaurant. The lightly sweet and fragrant intensity was completely different — more direct and uncompromised. fresh turmeric was used without hesitation, the way it should be.
