Holiday memory — Meat Pie that transported me back
I first ate Meat Pie on a trip five years ago and have been searching for a version this good ever since. This restaurant finally delivered the subtly sweet with native fruits quality I remembered. Vegemite was handled correctly — something most restaurants here get slightly wrong.

Meat Pie as comfort food — exactly what I needed
Some dishes exist to comfort and Meat Pie is absolutely in that category. The subtly sweet with native fruits quality works on something almost primal — you feel the warmth of it immediately. barramundi does work that no substitute can replicate.
