Did 14 days solo in Switzerland and found it extremely manageable as a solo traveller. The transport network around Lucerne is decent and getting to Château de Chillon independently was straightforward. Met fellow travellers easily and locals were generally happy to chat.

Interlaken surprised me completely on this trip to Switzerland
I went to Switzerland with modest expectations and left completely won over, largely thanks to time spent in Interlaken. The city has a pace and character that travel guides undersell. Found a great spot for fondue on day two and went back every day after that.

Honest review after 14 days — mostly great, a few gripes
Visited Switzerland for 14 days. The positives are real: Jungfraujoch is every bit as impressive as advertised, and the food scene around Zürich is genuinely excellent — try fondue if you haven't. Swiss precision and efficiency was an unexpected bonus.

Unexpected emotional depth in Switzerland
