S-Class 2021

At this price point the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

I've owned many cars and the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.

Excited at purchase, reality more subdued. Positives: generous space, good fuel economy. Negatives: touchscreen freezes, rear wiper smears, lane-keeping too aggressive. Not bad but needs polish.

45,000 miles, zero mechanical issues. Tyres wearing evenly, everything works as day one. Resale value holding up brilliantly. The definition of a reliable long-term proposition.

Competent, reliable, comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want spending this much. Hard plastic panels in places, engine note unpleasant. Test-drive the competition before committing.

40 miles each way. The 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.

Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Bought for practicality, expected dull. Wrong. Chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, eager engine. Makes you look forward to driving.
