Worth every penny
Spent more than budget allowed but the 2023 Lexus RX justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.

Three years in — still no complaints
45,000 miles, zero mechanical issues. Tyres wearing evenly, everything works as day one. Resale value holding up brilliantly. The definition of a reliable long-term proposition.

Exceeded every expectation
Nervous buying without testing more alternatives but after 18 months: not a single unplanned shop visit. Safety features have intervened twice on the motorway. Comfortable on long journeys, easy to park. Everything you want.

Best car I've ever owned
I've owned many cars and the 2023 Lexus RX is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.

Ongoing reliability nightmare
Fourteen months, more time at the dealer than my driveway. Turbo failed at 8,000 miles, infotainment blank at 11,000 miles, persistent vibration they cannot locate. First and last experience with this brand.

Solid choice — does most things very well
Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

Average experience — wouldn't buy again
The 2023 Lexus RX has been perfectly functional but underwhelming. The ride is fine, fuel economy is acceptable, and it's reliable enough. But every time I get in I feel like I settled. The infotainment lag is annoying, the interior feels plasticky in places, and I've seen better driving dynamics at…

Reliability has been perfect — not a single unplanned trip to the shop. The safety features have already intervened twice on the motorway and I believe they prevented…

Good but expected more
There's nothing wrong with the 2023 Lexus RX per se — it's competent, reliable, and comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want when you've spent this much. The interior has a couple of hard plastic panels that feel out of place for the price, and the engine note isn't particularly pleasant. Ri…
