GV80 2025

Just had my 2025 Genesis GV80 valued after three years — depreciation far lower than I budgeted. Trouble-free ownership. A genuinely smart long-term buy.

At this price point the 2025 Genesis GV80 is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Hits a sweet spot for me. Refined on the motorway, economical for commuting, practical for family. Only gripe is infotainment slow to connect to phone on startup. Build quality noticeably better than my previous car.

40 miles each way. The 2025 Genesis GV80 makes the commute genuinely enjoyable. Seats stay comfortable, adaptive cruise works brilliantly, fuel costs reasonable. After 25,000 miles nothing has gone wrong.

Bought for practicality, expected dull. Wrong. Chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, eager engine. Makes you look forward to driving.

Competent, reliable, comfortable. But 'competent' isn't what you want spending this much. Hard plastic panels in places, engine note unpleasant. Test-drive the competition before committing.
