The 2024 Dodge Challenger. The last of the old-school muscle cars — brutish, retro, and utterly characterful.

Quality control issues from day one

Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Surprisingly fun to drive

Bought for practicality, expected dull. Wrong. Chassis is genuinely sorted — accurate steering, good body control, eager engine. Makes you look forward to driving.

Best car I've ever owned

I've owned many cars and the 2024 Dodge Challenger is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.

Worst car purchase I've ever made

Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Strong value proposition

At this price point the 2024 Dodge Challenger is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

Solid choice — does most things very well

The 2024 Dodge Challenger hits a sweet spot for me. Refined enough for the motorway, economical enough for commuting, and practical enough for family duties. I'd have rated it five stars but the infotainment system has a frustrating habit of not connecting to my phone immediately on start-up. Softwa…

Resale value is remarkable

Three years into owning my 2024 Dodge Challenger and I just had it valued for part-exchange — I was genuinely shocked how much it's retained. Depreciation has been far lower than I budgeted for. The car itself has been completely trouble-free. If you're thinking long-term, this is a smart buy.

Family road trip approved

Just returned from a 1,200-mile round trip in our 2024 Dodge Challenger with two children and a labrador. Couldn't have asked for a better companion. Boot swallowed everything we packed, rear passenger space was comfortable even for a ten-hour day, and the fuel stops were infrequent. Kids slept most…

Ongoing reliability nightmare

I've owned my 2024 Dodge Challenger for fourteen months and it has spent more time at the dealer than on my driveway. The turbo failed at 8,000 miles, the infotainment screen went blank at 11,000 miles, and there's a persistent vibration the dealer cannot locate. This is my first experience with thi…

Mixed feelings after six months

I was very excited about my 2024 Dodge Challenger purchase but reality has been more subdued. The positives: generous space, good fuel economy, and a perfect driving position. The negatives: the touchscreen regularly freezes requiring a reboot, the rear wiper smears in light rain, and lane-keeping a…
