Excellent value at the spec I chose

Mid-spec was the sweet spot. Heated seats, wireless CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring all standard. Build quality honest and durable. No showiness, just exactly what I needed.

Not what I expected

Reliability has been below the brand's reputation. Two dealer visits in the first year for issues that shouldn't exist on a new car. Interior quality also doesn't match the asking price.

Great daily driver, small gripes

Eight months in — fuel efficiency, comfort, and city traffic handling are all impressive. Gripes: rear legroom slightly tight for tall adults, auto transmission occasionally hesitates. Minor. Overall package excellent.

Impressed after 12 months

Sceptical when I ordered — playing it safe rather than exciting myself. A year in, genuinely impressed. More refined than expected, seats comfortable on long trips, nothing unexpected has gone wrong.

Decent, but not outstanding

Solid car that does its job without exciting me. Ride comfortable, easy to drive, safety features work well. Interior materials feel a step below the price point, engine noisy when pushed. Reliable but not class-leading.

Three years in — still no complaints

Bought my 2022 Chevrolet Equinox new and just crossed 45,000 miles with not a single mechanical issue. Tyres wearing evenly, everything works as it did on day one, and it still gets compliments in car parks. Resale value is holding up brilliantly. For anyone looking for a reliable long-term ownershi…

Worth every penny

Yes, I spent more than my budget initially allowed, but the 2022 Chevrolet Equinox has more than justified the extra outlay. The refinement difference is immediately noticeable coming from my old car. Cruising at motorway speeds is serene, the seats are supportive over long distances, and the tech s…

Resale value is remarkable

Three years into owning my 2022 Chevrolet Equinox and I just had it valued for part-exchange — I was genuinely shocked how much it's retained. Depreciation has been far lower than I budgeted for. The car itself has been completely trouble-free. If you're thinking long-term, this is a smart buy.

Quality control issues from day one

My 2022 Chevrolet Equinox came with several fit-and-finish issues straight from the factory — a door seal that whistles at speed, a dashboard rattle that took three dealer visits to fix, and a paint imperfection on the boot lid. The underlying car may be good but mine had a bad build day. Disappoint…
