Cannot recommend. Transmission issue, electrical fault that stranded me, engine warning light dealer cannot diagnose. Every visit takes a week. I had high expectations. Avoid.

Factory fit-and-finish issues: door seal whistles at speed, dashboard rattle took three dealer visits to fix, paint imperfection on boot lid. Disappointing for this price. Car should have been right first time.

Spent more than budget allowed but the 2023 BMW X3 justified every dollar. Cruising at highway speeds is serene, seats are supportive over distance, tech is useful rather than gimmicky. Running costs lower than expected.

Fourteen months, more time at the dealer than my driveway. Turbo failed at 8,000 miles, infotainment blank at 11,000 miles, persistent vibration they cannot locate. First and last experience with this brand.

Mid-spec was the sweet spot. Heated seats, wireless CarPlay, blind-spot monitoring all standard. Build quality honest and durable. No showiness, just exactly what I needed.

At this price point the 2023 BMW X3 is difficult to beat on pure value. Generous standard equipment, solid reliability record, and depreciation that won't sting too badly.

1,200-mile round trip with two kids and a dog. Boot swallowed everything, rear space genuinely comfortable, fuel stops infrequent. Kids slept most of the way. Ultimate endorsement.

Nervous buying without testing more alternatives but after 18 months: not a single unplanned shop visit. Safety features have intervened twice on the motorway. Comfortable on long journeys, easy to park. Everything you want.

I've owned many cars and the 2023 BMW X3 is comfortably the best. Interior feels genuinely premium, ride is smooth, infotainment actually works. My only gripe is wind noise at motorway speeds — minor on an otherwise outstanding vehicle.
