Cons
- Daily grooming is absolutely non-negotiable — coat mats quickly without it
- Brachycephalic (flat face) causes breathing difficulties, eye tearing, and heat sensitivity
- Not suited to active or noisy households
- Prone to polycystic kidney disease (PKD) — always choose health-tested lines
