back kick finally clicked after 3 months — and everything changed
I've been training Taekwondo for 3 months and the moment back kick finally clicked was a turning point. Before that I was going through the motions. After, the whole game opened up.
My coach breaks things down well and has a good understanding of hogu body protector sparring, which made the difference. The community at the gym is genuine — no ego, everyone remembers being a beginner. Olympic competition format understanding was something I never expected to get from a sport like this. One honest note: adjusting to the point-scoring system. Factor that in from day one.
