Serious competitive journey in Swimming — what it really takes
I've been competing in Swimming for three years now, training five days a week. I want to give an honest picture of what the competitive path looks like.
The technical demands compound. flip turns at beginner level and at competition level are almost different skills. Understanding stroke efficiency over power deeply enough to deploy it under pressure takes years, not months. Studying Caeleb Dressel's approach changed how I think about the game entirely. the full-body fatigue after a hard set is what makes it worth the commitment. technique errors entrenching without coaching is the tax you pay. Not everyone needs to compete — but if you have the itch, chase it. It will make you better in every direction.
