The mental side of Running is what nobody warns you about

I came to Running for the fitness and stayed for the mental challenge. Everyone talks about the physical side — the cadence, the conditioning, the hydration vest. Nobody mentioned what happens to your mind.

Learning interval training demands a kind of focused presence that clears everything else out. After a hard session I'm genuinely calmer and clearer. the meditative state of long easy runs has been the unexpected gift. The physical transformation is real too, but honestly it's secondary now. If you're dealing with stress and want something that genuinely helps, give Running a proper chance.
