I've been growing Virginia Creeper for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. autumn foliage colour on deciduous species before leaf fall was the clear high point — everything you're told about Virginia Creeper at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

dramatic seasonal transformations from bare stems to full cover is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a boundary wall or fence for screening and softening as the ideal position. pruning at the correct season for the specific variety was the lesson I took into next year. support structure failing under the weight of mature growth is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
