Beginner success with Jasmine — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Jasmine. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to feeding with a high-potassium fertiliser in summer to encourage flowering.

I grow mine in a house wall with appropriate fixings for support which is working really well. dramatic seasonal transformations from bare stems to full cover was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. peak flowering display in summer has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring pruning at the wrong time removing next season's flower buds, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
