Here are my notes from twelve months of growing Jasmine:

Spring: peak flowering display in summer. This was the moment that confirmed the whole venture. I focused on pruning at the correct season for the specific variety during this period which set up the rest of the year.

dramatic seasonal transformations from bare stems to full cover developed steadily through the warmer months. pruning at the wrong time removing next season's flower buds appeared in summer and required prompt treatment. The plant in a boundary wall or fence for screening and softening performed better than I'd expected for the position. Overall: a rewarding year. The investment of attention is paid back generously.
