Slow start but a stunning finish with Spinach

The first few months with Spinach were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting consistent deep watering rather than frequent shallow watering right was the turning point.

far superior flavour versus supermarket produce became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in an allotment plot with companion planting it gets the attention it deserves. sowing under cover from late winter for early crops was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: blight in warm wet summers especially on tomatoes. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
