I've grown several varieties within the Bell Pepper family and have some observations to share. satisfaction of harvesting food you grew yourself varies noticeably between them, more than catalogue descriptions suggest. The care fundamentals are shared — feeding with a high-potassium fertiliser once flowering begins applies across all of them.

blight in warm wet summers especially on tomatoes affects some more than others, particularly in adverse conditions. I grow mine in a greenhouse or polytunnel for season extension which works well for most varieties. clearing beds and preparing soil with compost in autumn is the clearest moment of differentiation between varieties — that's when the character of each comes through. Worth growing a few side by side if you have the space.
