Struggling with Traveller's Palm — would appreciate advice

I want to be honest: I'm not getting great results with Traveller's Palm and I'm not entirely sure why. leaf browning from low humidity in centrally heated rooms has been a recurring problem despite my attempts to address it. I've been focusing on protecting from cold draughts and air conditioning vents based on everything I've read.

exotic appearance that transforms any indoor or outdoor space is there in glimpses, which tells me the plant has potential in my conditions. I have it in a bright living room away from draughts which might not be ideal. bringing back indoors before first autumn frost showed some improvement. Two stars for now — not the plant's fault, but not a success yet. I'll update if things improve.
