Honest review: Plumeria is rewarding but failure to flower indoors without sufficient light intensity is real
Plumeria is a genuinely satisfying plant to grow, but I want to be upfront about one thing: failure to flower indoors without sufficient light intensity. I've dealt with it twice now and it takes consistent attention to manage.
Beyond that, exotic appearance that transforms any indoor or outdoor space makes it one of my favourites in the collection. I keep it in a warm humid conservatory or heated greenhouse which suits it well. Learning about providing high humidity through pebble trays or regular misting has been essential. flowering period in peak summer heat is worth waiting for — the plant really justifies itself then. Four stars because of that persistent issue.
