A year of growing Plumeria — detailed seasonal notes
Here are my notes from twelve months of growing Plumeria:
Spring: active growth flush when moved outdoors in early summer. This was the moment that confirmed the whole venture. I focused on providing high humidity through pebble trays or regular misting during this period which set up the rest of the year.
exotic appearance that transforms any indoor or outdoor space developed steadily through the warmer months. leaf browning from low humidity in centrally heated rooms appeared in summer and required prompt treatment. The plant in a bright living room away from draughts performed better than I'd expected for the position. Overall: a rewarding year. The investment of attention is paid back generously.
