Container growing Monstera Deliciosa — a practical guide from experience

I don't have a garden so a hotel lobby-style statement interior display is my only option for Monstera Deliciosa. It absolutely works — with the right attention to protecting from cold draughts and air conditioning vents you can get excellent results in containers.

fast growth in warm humid conditions is fully achievable even in a pot. reduced watering rest period in winter is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: yellowing leaves from overwatering or cold root temperatures. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
