The propagation success I didn't expect with Heliconia

I started with one Heliconia and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand watering generously in summer and reducing in winter — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a bathroom with high natural light and steam humidity which shows off dramatic large leaves or flowers that create an instant impact at its best. flowering period in peak summer heat is when they're most impressive. spider mite infestations in hot dry conditions has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
