People describe Bromeliad as easy and I'd push back on that slightly. providing high humidity through pebble trays or regular misting needs consistent attention and spider mite infestations in hot dry conditions can undermine progress quickly if ignored.

Where Bromeliad is genuinely underrated is the beauty. fast growth in warm humid conditions is extraordinary when you see it in person. I display it in a hotel lobby-style statement interior display and it gets comments from everyone who sees it. active growth flush when moved outdoors in early summer is the time to really understand what this plant offers. Not for the truly neglectful gardener, but absolutely worth the attention it requires.
