I've been growing Bromeliad for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. active growth flush when moved outdoors in early summer was the clear high point — everything you're told about Bromeliad at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

exotic appearance that transforms any indoor or outdoor space is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a bright living room away from draughts as the ideal position. watering generously in summer and reducing in winter was the lesson I took into next year. spider mite infestations in hot dry conditions is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
