String of Pearls finally thriving — the one thing that changed everything

I nearly gave up on String of Pearls after three months of mediocre results. Then I focused properly on providing at least six hours of bright indirect light and within a few weeks the difference was dramatic.

It now lives in a vertical living wall frame and has genuinely transformed that spot. water-storing fleshy leaves in geometric rosettes is even more impressive in person than I expected from photos. new offsets appearing around the base in spring was spectacular — worth every bit of patience. If you're struggling with yours, providing at least six hours of bright indirect light is almost certainly the issue.
