Slow start but a stunning finish with Jade Plant

The first few months with Jade Plant were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting watering only when the soil is completely dry right was the turning point.

Displayed in a sunny windowsill in a terracotta pot it gets the attention it deserves. surprising flower spikes in late spring was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: mealybug infestations in leaf crevices. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
