Slow start but a stunning finish with Jade Plant

The first few months with Jade Plant were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting watering only when the soil is completely dry right was the turning point.

easy propagation from leaf cuttings became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a sunny windowsill in a terracotta pot it gets the attention it deserves. surprising flower spikes in late spring was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: mealybug infestations in leaf crevices. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
