I nearly gave up on Haworthia after three months of mediocre results. Then I focused properly on providing at least six hours of bright indirect light and within a few weeks the difference was dramatic.

It now lives in a sunny windowsill in a terracotta pot and has genuinely transformed that spot. water-storing fleshy leaves in geometric rosettes is even more impressive in person than I expected from photos. surprising flower spikes in late spring was spectacular — worth every bit of patience. If you're struggling with yours, providing at least six hours of bright indirect light is almost certainly the issue.
