Beginner success with Ghost Plant — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Ghost Plant. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to avoiding water on the rosette centre to prevent rot.

I grow mine in a shallow dish garden arrangement which is working really well. wide range of colours from blue-grey to red was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. vivid stress colouring in full summer sun has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring root rot from overwatering and poor drainage, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
