Here are my notes from twelve months of growing Ghost Plant:

Spring: surprising flower spikes in late spring. This was the moment that confirmed the whole venture. I focused on watering only when the soil is completely dry during this period which set up the rest of the year.

wide range of colours from blue-grey to red developed steadily through the warmer months. root rot from overwatering and poor drainage appeared in summer and required prompt treatment. The plant in a fairy garden or miniature landscape performed better than I'd expected for the position. Overall: a rewarding year. The investment of attention is paid back generously.
