Lavender seasonal highlights — a year in review

I've been growing Lavender for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. autumn berries and foliage colour was the clear high point — everything you're told about Lavender at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

I've settled on a mixed shrub border providing year-round structure as the ideal position. mulching around the base annually to feed and retain moisture was the lesson I took into next year. leggy and open growth habit from insufficient light is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
