Overrated for ease, underrated for beauty — Peace
People describe Peace as easy and I'd push back on that slightly. deep watering at the base rather than overhead needs consistent attention and powdery mildew in humid summers can undermine progress quickly if ignored.
Where Peace is genuinely underrated is the beauty. repeat-flowering over a long season is extraordinary when you see it in person. I display it in a dedicated rose bed with good air circulation and it gets comments from everyone who sees it. peak flowering through midsummer is the time to really understand what this plant offers. Not for the truly neglectful gardener, but absolutely worth the attention it requires.
