The propagation success I didn't expect with Mr. Lincoln

I started with one Mr. Lincoln and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand pruning to an outward-facing bud at a 45-degree angle — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a trellis or pergola for climbing varieties which shows off strong disease-resistant root stock at its best. hips forming in autumn for wildlife interest is when they're most impressive. rose dieback from hard winter frosts has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
