I've been growing Areca Palm for a full year now and want to capture what each season offered. new frond production visible in spring and early summer was the clear high point — everything you're told about Areca Palm at that time of year is true. But the plant has something to offer in every season, which I hadn't expected.

association with warmth and holiday destinations worldwide is consistent throughout the year, which is one of its real strengths. I've settled on a large decorative pot as a patio centrepiece as the ideal position. wrapping the crown with fleece in winter for borderline hardy species was the lesson I took into next year. slow recovery from transplant shock when moved as large specimens is the only thing that interrupted the enjoyment. Otherwise: excellent.
