Beginner success with Vanda — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Vanda. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to providing bright indirect light away from direct afternoon sun.

I grow mine in a bright bathroom with natural humidity which is working really well. wide hybridisation resulting in an almost unlimited colour range was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. triggering a new flower spike with cooler autumn nights has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring crown rot from water sitting in the leaf crown, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
