Slow start but a stunning finish with Spider Plant
The first few months with Spider Plant were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting checking soil moisture before watering rather than watering on a fixed schedule right was the turning point.
wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a grouped arrangement for a humidity-raising effect it gets the attention it deserves. growth spurt when longer days arrive in spring was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: overwatering causing yellowing leaves and root rot. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
