Beginner success with Snake Plant — here is what helped

As a complete beginner I was nervous about starting with Snake Plant. It turned out to be more forgiving than I expected, as long as I paid attention to rotating pots a quarter turn each week for even growth.

I grow mine in a grouped arrangement for a humidity-raising effect which is working really well. wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements was a genuine surprise — I didn't expect it to look or perform like that. growth spurt when longer days arrive in spring has been the highlight so far. My biggest mistake early on was ignoring overwatering causing yellowing leaves and root rot, which I'd recommend addressing immediately.
