I've grown several varieties within the Rubber Plant family and have some observations to share. wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements varies noticeably between them, more than catalogue descriptions suggest. The care fundamentals are shared — rotating pots a quarter turn each week for even growth applies across all of them.

leggy growth reaching toward insufficient light affects some more than others, particularly in adverse conditions. I grow mine in a plant shelf or bookcase as a green interior feature which works well for most varieties. summer growth needing more frequent watering and feeding is the clearest moment of differentiation between varieties — that's when the character of each comes through. Worth growing a few side by side if you have the space.
