I don't have a garden so an office desk with a grow light supplement is my only option for Pothos. It absolutely works — with the right attention to checking soil moisture before watering rather than watering on a fixed schedule you can get excellent results in containers.

wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements is fully achievable even in a pot. slowing down in autumn as light levels drop is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: leggy growth reaching toward insufficient light. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
