Six months with Pothos — what I actually learned
I brought Pothos home six months ago with high hopes and almost no knowledge. The first challenge was understanding rotating pots a quarter turn each week for even growth — something I hadn't expected to matter so much. Once I got that right, the whole thing settled down.
I grow it in a bright indirect windowsill away from heating vents and the position has been ideal. wide range of forms, textures, and light requirements is what keeps drawing me back to it. summer growth needing more frequent watering and feeding was the moment that made me glad I persisted through the learning curve. One honest warning: fungus gnats in consistently damp potting compost caught me off guard in month two. Stay on top of it from the start.
