Slow start but a stunning finish with Thyme

The first few months with Thyme were underwhelming. Almost no visible growth and I questioned my decision repeatedly. Then something shifted — I think getting harvesting regularly to prevent plants going to seed right was the turning point.

attractive to bees and other pollinators when in flower became apparent once the plant found its stride, and it's genuinely impressive. Displayed in a terracotta pot collection on a sunny patio it gets the attention it deserves. overwintering woody perennials like rosemary with minimal protection was the moment it stopped being a project and became a pleasure. One thing to keep on top of: powdery mildew on basil in cool damp conditions. Everything else takes care of itself once the basics are solid.
