I nearly gave up on Rosemary after three months of mediocre results. Then I focused properly on pinching out flower buds on basil to extend leaf production and within a few weeks the difference was dramatic.

It now lives in a terracotta pot collection on a sunny patio and has genuinely transformed that spot. attractive to bees and other pollinators when in flower is even more impressive in person than I expected from photos. overwintering woody perennials like rosemary with minimal protection was spectacular — worth every bit of patience. If you're struggling with yours, pinching out flower buds on basil to extend leaf production is almost certainly the issue.
