The propagation success I didn't expect with Chives

I started with one Chives and now have four, all from propagation. The process is straightforward once you understand dividing clumping herbs like chives every two or three years — something I picked up from trial and error rather than any guide.

I display them in a kitchen windowsill close to the cooking area which shows off dual purpose as ornamental plant and culinary ingredient at its best. sowing and planting out after last frost in spring is when they're most impressive. mint spreading invasively through garden beds has been my main challenge across all of them, but it's manageable now that I know what to look for. A genuinely generous plant if you let it be.
