Container growing Kimberly Queen Fern — a practical guide from experience
I don't have a garden so a humid conservatory in a decorative pot is my only option for Kimberly Queen Fern. It absolutely works — with the right attention to misting the fronds in dry centrally heated rooms you can get excellent results in containers.
exceptional ability to thrive in deep shade is fully achievable even in a pot. early emergence from the soil before most other plants in spring is just as impressive in a container as it would be in the ground, possibly more so because the plant is at closer viewing distance. The main issue to watch in containers: frond browning and crisp tips in dry air. Happens faster than in the ground. Highly recommend for balcony and patio gardeners.
